We announce the death of Sue L. Barrow of Snellville, Georgia, born in Edison, Georgia, who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her husband Josh Barrow; her sister Louise Holland; her parents, Lafleur Long and Carrie Long; her stepmother Dorothy Long; her brother Hiram; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Long; her brother Stanley Long; her brother-in-law Charles Thornhill; and her grandmother Gussie Cullifer.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Barrow Almand (Chuck) of Snellville; her granddaughters, Caroline Almand of Lawrenceville, Jennifer Butzen (Nathan) of Alpharetta and Amy Buchanan (Ben) of Marvin, NC; her great grandchildren, Ily Almand, Hannah, Asher Butzen, George, Owen, Henry and Noah Buchanan; her siblings, Jane Thornhill, John Long (Joellen) and Carl Long (Susan); her aunt Mary Nelms; and her caregivers, Emma Cook, Carmen Sam and Lornette Chuck.
