She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar "Lannie" Cox; her parents, Ward Sherman and Stella Sherman (Rosier); and her sister Peggy Harris. She is survived by: her children, Heather Phillips, Jeff Cox and Jason Cox (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Justin Cox (Hayley), Logan Phillips and Landon Phillips; her great grandchild Elena Cox; and her sister Carla Prather. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
