He was predeceased by : his parents, Hoke Smith and Polly Smith; and his former life partner Anita Reece. He is survived by : his wife Jackie Smith; his sons, Ben (Karen Smith) and Shane (Jessica Corbett); his grandchildren, Keith Smith, Elijah Corbett, Haley Corbett and Crystal Smith; his great grandchildren, Silas Banks Corbett and Harper Corbett; and his siblings, Hoke Smith, Jr., Dennis (Brenda Smith), Joyce Mathews and Sharon (Dave Hilliard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
