She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Gene Dukes of Soperton; her parents, Fred Odom and Noma Lee Calhoun Odom; and her brother Calhoun Odom. She is survived by: her son Danny Dukes (Jeanie) of Canton, GA; her siblings, Alteen McLeod of Soperton, GA, Freda Ricks of Soperton, GA and Velda Frost (Kenneth) of Palm Harbor, FL; and her grandson Robert Alexander Dukes II (Joice Macena Dukes) of Vidalia, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sammons Funeral Home (4201 W Main St, Soperton, GA 30457). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Williams Chapel at Sammons Funeral Home (4201 W Main St, Soperton, GA 30457). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fowler Cemetery.
