She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Pollette and Alice Branch Pollette; her children, Ricky Meeks and Gerry Meeks; her brother E. L. Pollette; and her close friend Oscar Ennis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katrina "Dusty" Meeks Connelly (Bob) of La Conner and Ashley Hayes Meeks Powell (Stacey) of Ailey; her grandchildren, Brian Meeks of Soperton, Camille Connelly of La Conner, Brett Connelly Pool of Washington, Kristin Connelly of Washington, Sage Powell of Ailey, Seth Powell of Ailey and Saylor Powell of Ailey; and her great grandchildren, Kylie, James, Ethan and Myles.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Diamonds in the Ruff, PO Box 771, Soperton, GA 30457.
