She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Powell and Mary Lee Foskey Powell; her former husbands, James Edward Walker and John Deese; and her close friends, Bill Phillips and William Harold "Bill" Howell.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael E. Walker (Tracey) of Dexter, GA and David Deese (Wendy) of East Dublin, GA; her brothers, Jerry Powell (Joyce) of Higgston, GA, Wendell Powell (Laura) of Soperton, GA and Joey Powell of Soperton, GA; her grandchildren, Tara, Shelby, Emily, Valerie, Jessie, Kyle, Kristopher and Alyssa; her great grandchildren, Karley, Jackson, Lane, Raelyn, Heaven, Baylor and Kinslie; and her great great grandchild Adaleigh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
