She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Taylor and Pauline Taylor; her siblings, Charles Harold Taylor of Virginia, Wilbur Taylor of Suwanee, GA and Kay Taylor Odum of Lawrenceville, GA; and her daughter Cynthia Spooner Hankes (Cindi) of Auburn.

She is survived by: her husband Joe Spooner of Auburn; her daughter Victoria; her sons-in-law, Frank Jordan of Atlanta and Joe Hankes of Birmingham; and her grandchildren, Gabe Hankes (Deborah), Taylor Jordan, Eben Jordan, Mallie Hankes and Audrey Jordan.
