She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Brooks Nielsen and Dorothy Jean Smith Nielsen; her former husband Mario Garcia; and her son Christopher Nielsen. She is survived by: her husband James Michael Cummings of Soperton, GA; her children, Mario Garcia Jr. (Lynne) of Silver Springs, MD, Jennifer L. Watkins (Kyle) of Stockbridge, GA, Emily Cummings and Jody Cummings of Hiram, GA; her siblings, Lawrence Nielsen Jr. of Macon, GA and Christine Jones of Virginia Beach, VA; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Mario II and Marleigh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
