It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Gillis of Soperton, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Larry Dean Handley, Jr. (Mary Lou). She is survived by: her sisters, Jean Hartley (Dan) of Brooklet, Judy Crosby of Richmond Hill, Karen Urban of Ladson, SC and Marianne Smith (Tim) of Richmond Hill; her grandchildren, Jason Handley of Baxley and Dixie Handley of Richmond Hill; and her pets, Pretty Girl and Vera. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
