He was predeceased by: his parent Oddny Agnes Eriksen Askeland. He is survived by: his father John Askeland of Soperton, GA; his wife Jackie Wiggins Askeland; his children, Erik Askeland of Waterville, ME, Shawn Williamson (Lacey) of Macon, GA, Travis Williamson of Summerville, SC and Daniel Williamson of Summerville, SC; his siblings, Frank Askeland (Beverly), Green, Liz Jarvis (David) of Port Charlotte, FL and Jack Askeland (Amy) of Anchorage, AL; and his grandchildren, Emma Williamson, Kamryn Springer Williamson, Krymsen Williamson, Arya Williamson and Kai Williamson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
