It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Roberts of Sparks, Georgia, who passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Roberts and Amanda Rentz Roberts; and his siblings, L. D. Roberts, James Roberts, Vicie Roach and Mattie Exum.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Pounds (Larry) of Lenox, Linda Roberts of Sparks, Iva Evans (James) of Nashville and Bernie Bennett of Lenox; and his grandchildren, Reagan Green (Luke Brady), Ryann Green, Kyle Baldree, Dana Dunn (Walt) and David Pounds (Melissa). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Purvis Funeral Home (207 E Mitchell St, Adel, GA 31620). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
