He is survived by: his wife Julia Purvis of Sparks; his children, Michael, Dr. Missy Purvis of Eastman, Carmen and Jeff Joiner of Lenox; his grandchildren, Joseph Robinson, Aaron Robinson, Jansen Purvis, Jacob, Kamden Joiner, Ella Joiner, Jake, Paula Eason, Emily, Daniel Morris and Perry Eason; his great grandchild Grant Eason; and his siblings, Larry Purvis of Alapaha, Melvin Purvis of Sparta, Georgia and Susanne Nichols of Brookfield.
