He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nix and Ruby Lee Hall Nix. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Nix of Nashville and Cassandra Kellogg-Yoeom of Valdosta; his sister Debbie Martin (Carl) of Sparks; his nephew Willis Martin (Angel) of Sparks; his niece Marie Griffin (Gomer) of Sparks; and his cousin Glen Nix of Perry, FL..
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Point Fellowship Church (2208 Hutchinson-Parrish Rd, Adel, GA 31620).
