She was predeceased by : her parents, J. D. Brown and Eleanor Rountree Brown; and her former life partner Jeff Hood. She is survived by : her husband Jerry Purvis of Sparks; her children, Michael Hood (Angelica) of Adel, James Hood (Jenny) of Adel, Jeffrey Hood (Becky) of Adel and Madison Deal of Adel; her grandchildren, Angel Hood, Mikey Hood, Molly Hood, Presley Hood, Kinsley Hood and Oliver Deal; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Brown of Nashville; and her caregiver Teresa Brown of Nashville. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
