She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Franklin Fordham and Ora Lee Holland Fordham; her husband George Edwin Cook Jr.; and her daughter Donna Cook Griffith. She is survived by: her children, Edwin Cook (Karen) of Winder and Janet McCrary (Gray) of Americus; her grandchildren, Katie Boley (Clint), Kevin McCrary (Lorrie Anne), Morgan Cook Sharpe (Matthew) and Madison Cook Cravey (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Dansby, Wells and Judah.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Sparta Baptist Church (9090 E Broad St, Sparta, GA 31087).
