He was predeceased by : his wife Jean Smith Davis; his son Chris Davis; his parents, Haden C. Davis and Ophelia Poss Davis; and his brothers, Woody and Dorsey Davis.
He is survived by : his daughters, Gay Askew (Richard) of Waynesboro, Terri Alley of Waynesboro and Danna McClammy (Joey) of Lizella; his grandchildren, Christy Clemons (Jeff) of Lewes, DE, Wesley Askew of Atlanta, Brittany Askew, Laurie Askew of Waynesboro and Brannon McClammy of Lizella; his great grandchild Hazel; his pet Gracie; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Griffin and Janice Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
