She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ervin Kersey and Mattie Lou McCollough Kersey; her former husband Perry Mixon; her daughter Pamela Cribb; her husband Tommy Pierce; and her siblings, Bennie Kersey, Shirley Kersey Godbee, Carson Kersey, David Kersey and Carolyn Kersey Karlish.
She is survived by: her daughter Deloris Hollingsworth; her granddaughters, Brandy Hollingsworth (Thomas Cowart), Heather Anderson (Tory) and Emily Cribb; and her sisters, Donnie Thompson and Joannie Joyner. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several foster great-great-grandchildren.
