He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Turner (Joe T.) and Beatrice Cumbess (Betty Griffin); his children, Joey Wade Cumbess and Joy Lynn Cumbess; and his brothers, Ike Cumbess, Eli Cumbess and Zeke Cumbess.
He is survived by : his son Joseph Ries Cumbess of Cumming, GA; and his brothers, Neil Cumbess of Valdosta, GA and Jimmy Cumbess of Lake Park, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
