We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025, at the age of 87, Barbara A. Plotts of Statesboro, Georgia, born in Hollywood, Florida passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara A. Plotts to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Pickett and Gladys Pickett (Batson); her husband Robert A. Plotts, Sr.; and her brothers, Bert Pickett of Branchville and Wayne Pickett of Florida.
She is survived by: her children, Robert A. Plotts, Jr. (Candy) of West Virginia, Robin L. Matthews (late Ted) of Georgia, Luann Walter (late Gil) of Pennsylvania, Dale Plotts (Hope) of Georgia and Ruth "Missy" Sullivan (Jim Sullivan) of South Carolina; her sister Joy Johnson of Wisconsin; and her sisters-in-law, Janet and Ruth. She is also survived by several grandchildren and many great grandchildren that she loved and cherished very much; many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Frankford Plains Cemetery.
