He was predeceased by: his parents, Pad Hamon and Eula Miller Hamon; his former wife Dorothy Aycock Hamon; his children, Gary Hamon and Lori Hamon Dill; and his siblings, Pat Hamon, Betty Hamon Lankford, Wanda Hamon Kirkland, Ilene Hamon Mullins, Helene Hamon Bailey and Robert Wayne Hamon.
