He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Adams. He is survived by: his siblings, Percy "Pop" Lee Adams, Talmadge Lee Adams, Hercules Adams and Herbert Lee Adams, Jr.; his niece Evangelist Betty Murphy (Pastor Ronald) of Statesboro, GA; his sister-in-law Mae Francis Adams of Brooklet, GA; and his goddaughter Mary G. Mercer of Statesboro, GA. He is also survived by other godchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hill's Mortuary (58 Packinghouse Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Eastside Cemetery (1502 Northside Dr E, Statesboro, GA 30458).
