Derwin Moore Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Derwin Moore in Statesboro, Georgia. Derwin, born on March 25, 1958, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Derwin for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Derwin’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his son Brent Derwin Moore Jr.; his parents, Lorraine Moore and John Moore; and his sister Elaine Leonard. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Parrish (Glenn) of Guyton, Steve Moore of Hernando, Kevin Moore (Sandy) of Statesboro, Kenny Moore (Paula) of Clyo and Stan Moore (Amy) of Rincon; and his cousin Donnie Moore of Guyton. He is also survived by caregiver; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Union Cemetery (606 Early St, Springfield, GA 31329).
