He is survived by: his wife Karen Wilson Lavender; his sons, David Lavender (Julie) of Statesboro, John Lavender (America) of Statesboro and Tom Lavender of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Jeremy Lavender of Dawsonville, Nick Lavender of Statesboro, Jenifer Sartain (Adam) of Ringgold, Jeb Daniel Lavender of Statesboro, Jessica Goddard (Dawson) of Raleigh, NC and Emily Lavender of Winder; his great grandchild Benaiah Sartain of Ringgold, Georgia; his sister Eva Banks (Herman) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his children, Nick and Emily; and his sibling's children, Keri Schoeffel (Scott) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Robb Kenison (Gabrielle) of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, and special friends.
