She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Jones and Ollie Lee; and her siblings, Johnny, Sherbie Jean, Lonnie, Cynthia, Roosevelt, Gartrell and Charlie.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Smith; her children, Lee, Randy (Shyla), Shelia (Bernal) and George; her grandchildren, RJ, Imod, Anna, Priya, Ashlyn, Eve, Destiny and Sharneil; her sister Darlene Jones; and her daughter-in-law Robin.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Matthew H. Lovett & Son's Funeral Home, LLC (16303 US-80, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Elm Street Church of God (29 Elm St, Statesboro, GA 30458). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Lee Cemetery.
