She is survived by : her children, David Lee Proctor, Vicky Elaine Proctor Marshall (Tom) and Jerry Daniel Kight II (Kristin); and her grandchildren, Mary Elana Poctor, John Michael Proctor, Dr. Thomas Elliot Marshall, II, Dr. John Benjamin Marshall, Rachael Kight and Trevor Kight. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I am sorry to hear of Ms. Elaine's passing. I worked with her in the Evans County Clerk's Office. She taught me the financial part of my job before she retired. My son recalls a visit we made to her house when he was little (he's grown and married now). I will miss texting her on her birthday. Prayers for her family for strength and comfort. We will miss you, "Miss Elaineous".”
