She was predeceased by: her father Horace Barfield; her sister Monica Cowart Ergle; and her nephew Joshua O'Conner. She is survived by: her children, Robert "Ronnie" Howell of Statesboro, Jennifer Stansbury of Statesboro, Duane Moore of Augusta, Darla Silbys of Olean and James Kaiser of Clearwater, Florida; her mother Helen Barfield; and her siblings, Thomas Barfield of Higgston, Jimmy Barfield of Higgston and Rhonda Hunter (James) of Higgston. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
