He is survived by: his wife Verna Ralston Hickman; his children, Kelli Hickman Woodall (Paul), Greg Hickman (Kimberly) and Scott Hickman (Wendy); his grandchildren, Brooke, Amber, Jordan, Bradley, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Annalie and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Atlas and Malachi; and his close friend Tom Canfield.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pittman Park (1102 Fair Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
His family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pittman Park United Methodist Church where he was member since 1967.
