He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Faye McGalliard; his son Michael McGalliard; his parents, T. J. McGalliard and Nora Lee McGalliard; and his siblings, Betty Collins, Shirley Kirksey and Johnny McGalliard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon McGalliard of Statesboro, Donna Cromley of Statesboro, Lori Powell (Nathan) of Metter and Jeanna Daniel of Claxton; and his pet Max. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
