She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brown and Lily Mae Brown; her husband Lester Slater; and her siblings, Dorothy Funderburke, Mildred Holloway, Evelyn Smith, Caroldene Mathis and JC Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Crowe Beard, Randy Crowe, Corbin Crowe and Scotty Crowe. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
