The memory of Lonnie Hubbard Jr. (Statesboro, Georgia), who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Lonnie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lonnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Green Hubbard Sr. and Kathleen McGealy Hubbard. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Howell Hubbard; his children, Lonnie Green Hubbard III, Karin Anderson and Sarah Hubbard; and his siblings, Kathleen Swanbeck (Taffy), Larry Hubbard and Leslie Hubbard.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458).
