She was predeceased by: her mothers, J. R. "Jake" Cullens of Cartersville and Mary Ethel Barfield Cullens; her brother John B. Cullens (Winnie) of Menlo; and her husband Robert C. Franklin of Register. She is survived by: her sons, Justin Franklin (Emily) of Register and Jason Franklin of Statesboro; her brother Joseph R. Cullens (Harriet) of Marietta; and her grandchildren, Charley Jane Franklin and Preston Franklin.
