He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eugene West and Margaret Howell West; and his brother Howard Eugene West. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Moore (Philip) and Davis Quick (Betty). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel (2794 US-80, Garden City, GA 31408). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
