With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond Howard Brannen of Statesboro, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raymond Howard Brannen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Lee Brannen and Daisy Williams Brannen; his wife Patsy Beasley Brannen; and his sister Edwina Abbott. He is survived by: his children, Micheal Lee Brannen (Wanda), Patti Brannen and Jason Brannen (Jamie); his grandchildren, Emily Jones (Bryan), Megan Tavison (Dylan), Luke Reaves (Hannah), Ethan Reaves (Hannah Douglas), Gabe Brannen and Drew Brannen; his great grandchildren, Micah Reaves, Mason Reaves, Ellie Grace Jones, Kenneth Michael Jones and Danny Lee Tavison; and his siblings, Harvey Brannen (Margaret), Marvin Brannen (Beverly) and Christine Brannen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery (4025 Friendship Church Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458-6610).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, PO Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
