We announce the death of Reuben Aldridge Sr. of Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 70. Reuben will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Isam and Vera Aldridge; and his sister Joyce Ann Aldridge. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Aldridge; his children, Iva Sue Henson (Jason), Reuben Aldridge II (Clarissa), Amanda Sharee Holton (Cale) and Andrew Darryl Anderson; his grandchildren, Raleigh Brooks Griffin, Reuben Aldridge III, Isabelle Vera Aldridge, Broty Easton Anderson, Harper Alexandria Anderson and Ellena Serenity Henson; and his siblings, Annette Barnes, David Allen Aldridge, Joann Smith and Peggy Aldridge.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery (8819 US-301, Glennville, GA 30427).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Reuben's honor, a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated so much of his life to serving his country and supporting his fellow veterans.
