With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Simmons Lanier Jr. of Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on April 2, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Simmons Lanier and Doris Holmes Lanier. He is survived by : his daughter Natalie Corine Lanier (Jacob Michael Burton); and his siblings, Frederick Holmes Lanier (Lynn), Ellen Lanier and Paul Thomas Lanier. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
