She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Simmons Sr. and Louise Olliff Foy Simmons; her brother Frank Simmons, Jr.; and her grandparents, William Homer Simmons, Eva Sorrier, Manassas Foy and Maxie Ponita "Maxie" Olliff.

She is survived by: her brother Louie Simmons; her children, Betty Foy Botts (David), Carl Edward Sanders, Jr., Teresa Foy Brannen, Beth Brannen Chandler (Ricky), William Lawton Brannen (Laura), Aulbert Julian Brannen III, Anna Brannen Hagan (Darrell) and Betty Brannen Newton (Patrick); her nephew Frank Simmons III (Tammy); her niece Rebekah Simmons Davis (Greg); Lois Ward and Shairlon Brinson.
