He is survived by: his former wife Kay Hendricks Meeks; his stepsons, Jason Gibbs (Lisa) of Lexington, SC and Scott Preston Gibbs of Rome, GA; his siblings-in-law, Willette, Sam Strickland of Albany, GA and Linda Meeks of Milledgeville, GA; and his pet Nicholas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
