William leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew William will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brantley, Sr. and Virginia Brantley Cochran; and his uncle Bernard Olliff. He is survived by: his wife Myra Brantley; his daughters, Cheryl Gorlesky and Pamela Anderson (Tim); his grandchildren, Timothy Anderson (Sierra) and Megan "Jayden" Gorlesky; and his brother Paul Brantley, Jr. (Gail). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church (4 S Zetterower Ave, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
