He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Mixon Sr. and Thelma Harris Mixon; and his brother Joe Mixon. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy Smith (Chris) of Brooklet and Dana Jackson (Bo) of Martinsville, Virginia; his former wife Elaine Howell; his grandchildren, Olivia May (Joey) and Brantley Smith; and his siblings, Dorothy Smitherman and David Mixon of Augusta.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458).
