He is survived by: his wife Barbara Robertson Maxey; his sons, Matthew Maxey (Renee) and Jimmy Sudduth (Christy); his grandchildren, Casey Maxey, Alexa Sudduth and Hunter Sudduth; and his sisters, Amy Starnes (Devon) and Beth Dukes (Scottie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
