With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Joyce Brown of Stillmore, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Burke and Howard Ferguson of Dayton, TN.. She is survived by: her husband Von Brown of Emanuel County; her children, Katherine (Daryl Blankinship) of Cartersville, GA, Kimberly (Thomas Henry) of Twin City, GA and Michael Brown (April) of Woodstock, GA.; her sisters, Brenda Depuy of Daytona Beach, FL and Maryann Herbstrieth of Battle Creek, MI; and her cousin Larry Swafford of Battle Creek, MI.. She is also survived by 5 grandsons, 3 granddaughters along with 3 great-granddaughters.
