He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cockrum and Flora Mae Cockrum; and his brother David Cockrum. He is survived by: his wife Evanell Cockrum of Stockbridge, GA; his daughters, Theresa Sargent (Lamar), Jeanie Noble (Scott) and Tamara Crawley (Robert Nakai); and his sister Myra Lynn Young. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kerby Funeral Home (17554 AL-75, Henagar, AL 35978). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel (17554 AL-75, Henagar, AL 35978).
