He was predeceased by : his parents, Curtis Hiram and Ida Mae King Dobbins; his wife Helen Carol Smith Dobbins; and his siblings, Martha Dozier, Betty Merck, Peggy Coleman and Walter Dobbins.

He is survived by : his children, Sherry Stanley (Joey) of McDonough, Richard Dobbins (Angie) of Stockbridge, Donna Pike of Stockbridge and Jeff Dobbins (Toni) of Locust Grove; his grandchildren, Sharon Dobbins, Stephanie McMichen, Ashley Wright (Tommy), Stacie Stowers (Greg), Keith Dobbins (Ashley), Brittany Carreker (Collin), Amanda Mullis (Jared), Justin Dobbins, Lane Dobbins, Madison Pike and Tyler Pike; his great grandchildren, Landan, Macie, Brayden, Dylan, Hunter, Ella, Brooklyn, Raelynn, Paisley, Luke, Charlee and Tegan; and his sister Jane Sirmans of Cumming. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
