We announce the death of Floyd Dale Rainwater of Stockbridge, Georgia, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 74. Floyd will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Dorsey Rainwater and Dollie Duncan Rainwater; and his siblings, Marie Rainwater, Faye Bates, Lynn Riley and Eddie Rainwater.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie Acree Rainwater of Stockbridge; his daughter Amanda Ford (Matthew) of Senoia; and his siblings, Beverly June Robinson, Hugh Rainwater of Douglasville, Roger Rainwater (Jane) of Villa Rica, Terry Rainwater (Cookie) of Hogansville and Stan Rainwater (Wilthea) of Covington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
