We are sad to announce that, on October 3, 2020, at the age of 91, James Harold Thurman of Stockbridge, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glynn Thurman and Ellen Pearl Thurman; and his siblings, Carolyn Cox, Billy Thurman, Bobby Thurman and Sara Beth Batten.

He is survived by: his sisters, Marie Bankston (Bobby) and DeLane Gossett (Bobby). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bethel United Methodist Church at 245 Fairview Road, Stockbridge GA 30281.
