He was predeceased by: his parents, Jolley Sims and Flora Mae Hutcheson Sims. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Grooms Sims of Stockbridge, GA; his son Joey Sims (Vicky) of Kennesaw, GA; and his grandsons, Justin Lee Sims, Shawn Sims and Charles Sims.
