He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Wernert and Frances Wernert. He is survived by: his wife Janice Blaser; his children, Amy, Joel and Karen; and his brothers, James, Philip and Stephen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church (591 Flint River Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30238). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 10:30 PM at the same location.
