He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dennis O. Blevins and Ethel McNeil; his wife Lorette Pelletier; his daughters, Kim Carter of Ranger, GA, Terry Edwards (Steve) of Jackson, GA and Conna Smith (David) of McDonough, GA.; his brothers, Ned Blevins, Leon Blevins and Forrest Blevins of Shady Valley, TN; his granddaughter Amanda Young (Nathan) of Hoschton, GA; his siblings, Lorette, Edwards of Jackson, GA, Eli and Logan Smith of McDonough, GA; and his great grandchildren, Tucker and Molly Young of Hoschton, GA. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
