She was predeceased by: her brother Bobby Crooms; and her cousin Dustin Crooms. She is survived by: her friends, Netflix and Kayla; her grandmother MeMe; her parents, Sandy Ford and Wayne Crooms (Kimberly Raabe) of Covington; her siblings, Justin James of Covington, Ethan Decosse of Covington, Lacey McGuoirk of Stockbridge and Kolie Tillman of Covington; her grandparents, Elaine, Sid, Kathy Decosse (Jim) of Covington and Thomas Crooms (Myra) of Covington; her great-great-grandparent Joyce Sills of Lithonia; Mike of Porterdale. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made toward Kayla's final expenses.
