He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles Deloney and Peggy Elaine Quick Deloney. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Evie" Smith Deloney; his daughter Kristin; his son-in-law Nathan Goolsby of Marietta, GA; his son Joshua; his daughter-in-law Marissa Deloney of Seminole, FL; his grandchildren, James, Thomas and Audrey Goolsby; his brothers, William "Billy" Deloney Jr. (Kathy) of Green Bay, WI and David Deloney (Melissa) of Mansfield, GA; his stepmother Julie Deloney of Ellijay, GA; his mother-in-law Mottee Smith of Greensboro, GA; and his brother-in-law Clyde "Bubba" Smith of Conyers, GA. He is also survived by other relatives and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Walker United Methodist Church (2730 Walker Church Rd, Greensboro, GA 30642). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bethel Methodist Church in Stockbridge or Walker United Methodist Church in Greensboro.
